The Challenge

The client envisioned a return ticket to childhood. The goal was to transform the space into the feeling of walking through a traditional Thai market, the kind filled with noisy alleyways, familiar shop corners, tangled electrical wires that somehow hold the city together, and the comforting chaos of everyday life. Think less “designed restaurant” and more “memory you can sit inside with a bowl of noodles.”

The Result: A Usual Corner

The finished murals turned the restaurant into a nostalgic little time capsule. A sleepy street corner, old time shop shelves, a cheerful Tuk Tuk, weathered walls, and tiny details pulled guests straight into the atmosphere of old Bangkok. People don’t just come here to eat, they point at things, tell stories, and suddenly everyone has a story about an aunt, a street vendor, or a late night noodle run. The walls quietly became part of the conversation.
